BUILDING PHASES AND FUNDING THRESHOLDS

We reached our Phase One goal of $200,000 in July 2016!

The Eureka Springs Community Center Foundation will continue to seek community involvement with all of the major components of this project. Because of this dialogue between the Foundation, area residents, the business community, and many others, these phases and their construction components and costs will be constantly evolving.

The project will move to completion as each fundraising goal is met.

TRIGGER LEASE

Community Center Activity Building

  • Address roof problems and repair roof
  • Address mold issues
  • Renovate and open lobby restrooms
  • Update fire alarm system
  • Install security cameras

Old High School Building

  • Demolish structurally unsound structure in preparation for Outdoor Market Place and Events Space

Eureka Springs Trails System

  • Begin planning and construction of perimeter walking trail

ACQUIRE PROPERTY

Community Center Complex

  • Redesign parking lot
  • Signage for all buildings

Community Center Activity Building

  • Paint gym
  • Repair flooring
  • Clean and repair exterior
  • HVAC upgrades
  • Replace windows
  • Add solar panels
  • Banquet floor covering
  • Renovate two meetings room and technology/meeting room
  • Build entrance ramps to building
  • Landscape area around building
  • Open building to the public

Market Place

  • Build permanent structure for Farmer’s Market and other outdoor events

Office Park

  • Finalize exterior design and construct one office suite model
  • Complete renovation of Office Park
  • Begin leasing office suites
  • Landscape area around building

Eureka Springs Trails System

  • Complete work on Trail Hub and add upgrades to trails around Community Center

  • Complete renovation of Office Park

Community Center Activity Building

  • Complete work on building including renovating all restrooms, installing a kitchen, and equipping the technology center and maker’s space

  • Construct outdoor restroom adjacent to Event Space

Eureka Springs Trails System

  • Eureka Springs Parks and Recreation Commission adds After-School and Recreation programming

Aquatic Center

  • Design approval and site preparation
  • Completion of the Aquatic Center which includes pool and splash pad
