Highlanders Care – An Alumni FUN Fair on March 17th

Alumni Jordan Moyer has rallied fellow alumni and gained the support of the community to host an Alumni Sponsored Fun Fair at the Community Center on the afternoon of March 17th.  Included in your entrance fee comes two movies as sponsored by the Crescent Hotel, fun games facilitated by the alumni, a silent auction as donated by the community and hot dogs and hamburgers donated and prepared by Arvest Bank.

Job Description – Activities Director

$12.00 – $15.00/hour, approximately 28 hours/week

Work Schedule: M-T-W-Th 3:30 PM – 8:30 PM; Sat – 8 hours times TBD


Oversees the recreational programs of the Eureka Springs Community Center.


Selects, develops, and supervises paid staff, contractors, and volunteers.

Develops, schedules, and oversees recreational programs and other activities.

Oversees use, maintenance, and repair of facilities; investigates and provides reports regarding damage to facilities and accidents.

Schedules meeting rooms and collects fees for meeting room rentals.

Prepares reports of area activities. Maintains records of attendance, permits issued, and monies received.

Orders supplies, purchases equipment and employs services.

Manages budget, maintains records and provides reports of attendance, monies received and permits issued.

Performs other duties as directed for operation of the Community Center.


The Activities Director must be capable of moderate physical activity to successfully perform the requirements of this position.
